What Is a CBCT?
Watch this video by Dr. Bruce Fine, an experienced New Jersey implant dentist, as he showcases the cone beam CT machine and how it is an essential tool for several oral health applications.
I’d like to introduce you to an incredible device we have called the CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography). When we use this technology to take a full set of X-rays for our patients, it involves only half the radiation compared to traditional X-rays. This is a significant reduction in radiation exposure. What makes the CBCT even more remarkable is its diagnostic capability. Unlike traditional flat X-ray images, the CBCT provides a three-dimensional view of your teeth. It allows us to examine various aspects of your teeth from multiple angles—up and down, side to side, left and right.
This comprehensive view helps us accurately diagnose and address your dental issues. I must emphasize that in several cases, patients who had previously visited multiple dentists and doctors without access to CBCT scans came to us with potentially life-threatening problems. Thanks to the CBCT, we were able to identify and solve these issues effectively. If you’re considering dental implants, we offer a free consultation along with a free CBCT scan. This allows us to fully assess your dental needs and develop the best possible solutions for your specific situation. I’m looking forward to meeting you, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Have a great day!
