What Can I Eat After Implant Surgery?
Watch this video by Dr. Bruce Fine, an experienced New Jersey implant dentist, as he discusses the foods you’re free to enjoy after your implant procedure, and which to avoid.
Following implant surgery, you’ll be able to enjoy a wide variety of foods. However, we recommend avoiding very hard or foods with small seeds initially. This precaution is taken because although the bone and implant are securely connected, some individuals may have softer bone.
Our aim is for the bone to gradually strengthen, similar to how it surrounds natural teeth. For the first couple of weeks, we suggest a diet of regular foods, excluding extremely hard or crunchy items. This guidance is intended to protect you and ensure the longevity of your implants, so they remain strong and last a lifetime.
If you’d like to learn more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We offer complimentary consultations and free 3D scans. Additionally, mini dental implants have the added benefit of being half the cost of traditional standard implants.
