Mini Dental Implant Healing Period
Watch this video by Dr. Bruce Fine, an experienced New Jersey implant dentist, as he explains the length of time typically needed to heal after your dental implant procedure.
The recovery period following a mini dental implant procedure is remarkably short. This is due to our ability to immediately place crowns, stabilize dentures, or even install bridges on the same day as the implant placement. In contrast, when dealing with standard conventional implants, a waiting period is usually necessary. For front teeth, this wait can be as long as three months, and although temporary crowns can sometimes be placed on standard implants, final crowns are not typically feasible during this time. This often led to the need for various measures to conceal the gap left by the missing tooth.
With mini implants, we can seamlessly position crowns on the very same day as the implant placement, resulting in an immediate improvement in your appearance. We’ll also provide you with a complimentary 3D scan to assess your situation and determine the best course of action on the spot.
