Do You Provide Sedation Dentistry?

Watch this video by Dr. Bruce Fine, an experienced New Jersey implant dentist, as he discusses the different sedation options we can offer to alleviate dental anxiety.

I’m here to ensure that your experience with us is exceptional and comfortable. If you happen to feel nervous or apprehensive about visiting our office, rest assured that we offer various sedation options to help put you at ease. Firstly, we provide nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas. This option typically induces a state of relaxation and often makes the dental visit enjoyable for most individuals. In addition to nitrous oxide, we offer oral conscious sedation, where we prescribe medication for you to take before your appointment. This approach can create a sense of being present but deeply relaxed during your visit. However, please note that if you choose this option, you will need to arrange for someone to drive you to and from the appointment, as you may not be fit to drive.

Alternatively, we have the option of bringing in a dental anesthesiologist who can administer general anesthesia. This will effectively put you to sleep, ensuring that you are completely unaware of the dental procedures being performed. It’s an excellent choice if you have concerns about using nitrous oxide or taking oral sedation pills. Ultimately, our goal is to make your dental experience stress-free, and we offer these sedation methods to address any apprehensions you may have. With these options, dental issues can become a thing of the past, and you can enjoy a more comfortable and positive dental visit. We look forward to meeting you and providing you with the care you need.
